My friend has always maintained that he gave me all the details of my investments in a blue folder.

But although several black bags of my clothes were sent to my parents after my death

The only blue folder contained some gruesome pictures of my leg surgery.

I wonder what happened to it and to the true record of where all my money went?

The court said my friend didn’t have to render accounts—for although he used my credit card and the power of attorney I gave him he is rich enough to employ a smart barrister to argue his case.

Do you know—not one penny of all my investments was left when I died?  That seems a bit strange doesn’t it. After all most people have a few pounds—but there wasn’t any money.

I started out with £150,000 too—and part of that in my own bungalow. But my friend helped me sell that and I went to live in one of his little flats above the Nook and Harbour.  He told the paper it would be cheaper—but somehow I think it all cost me a great deal of money.

I wonder where it went?
